RESTAURANT SPOTLIGHT

Gigi’s

When I first learned that Giacomo’s in the South End closed I was so upset that a staple in the South End was no longer. I was skeptical visiting Gigi’s for the first time but was pleasantly surprised. The space is intimate and gorgeous — dimly lit with a few tables. As for the food the burrata was delicious and we were impressed by the pasta’s. Rich in flavor, thoughtfully prepared.

What to order: Tagliatelle: Habanero pepper, onion, garlic
